yarn technique for the head
Um den Kopf an den Körper zu befestigen werden eine Nadel und ein reißfester Faden in der Farbe des Kopfes benötigt. To fix the head to the body you will need a strong yarn and a long needle
Begonnen wird am Rücken (oder Unterseite) der Figur. Von dort aus mit der Nadel durch den Körper stechen und am Halsanfang wieder rauskommen. The best way ist to prick the needle in the back (or underside) of the figure and come out at the throat.
Im unterem Kopfbereich mittig durch ein bis zwei Maschen mit der Nadel stechen You have to go through one or two stitches at the bottom side from the head (see image).
Am Halsanfang in die gleiche Masche einstechen aus der man zwei Schritte zuvor rausgekommen ist. now prick in the same stitch on the bodys throat you came out at the beginning.
Am Rücken enden und um eine Masche versetzt zum Anfangseinstich rauskommen. Come out at the back, one stitch next to the first stitch you made at the beginning.
Den Anfangs,- und Endfaden nun fest anziehen, so dass der Kopf einen guten Sitz hat, dann die Fäden miteinander verknoten und sauber vernähen. Tie the yarns strongly so that the heads fits good and strong on the body. Knot the threads together and sew up the yarnends neatly. Thats all. I hope you like it and have fun with this technique. 😉
